How to Renew

You need to renew your Medicaid benefits every twelve months to keep them. If you don’t renew on time, you could lose your benefits.

But don’t worry! Just follow these easy steps to renew your benefits.

  1. Keep an eye out for a notice in the mail.

    You’ll get a renewal notice in the mail from the Louisiana Department of Health telling you it’s time to renew.

  2. Go to the Healthy Louisiana website.

    Choose Login Now to log into or create an account.

  3. Complete your online renewal.

    You can also renew by calling the Louisiana Department of Health at 1-888-342-6207 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or visiting a local Medicaid regional office.
